Some people even put mud on the entire wall. In commercial construction they'll double layer the drywall and mud the whole thing. Lot of work.

    Thanks guys.

We started display wall and started painting the tank room. Also, the front yard is done so we are full bore on the tank build now until it is complete. Ordering rubber backed industrial carpet tomorrow!

Yup, I think they call that level 5 smoothness and it is bigtime expensive from what I understand.

    Forgot to post this yesterday:

Received a few goodies yesterday. My quick vac for cleaning up in my QT tank. That way i can pick up obvious detritus on the botton of the glass to avoid as much bio load as I can. As a bonus, it does not remove water from the system. :) Some carbon also to remove cupramine from my QT. So Kalk and a pump to dose and mix my ATO water. And lastly some Dr. Tim's O&O for occasional system usage.

Painting, done. Carpet ordered and we pick it up tomorrow. Trip to home depot secured last remaining items to complete room before tank can go up. Next week...WATER!

The target to drill the tank and have it on the stand Thursday. Crossing my fingers. :)

Here is the latest. Carpet down, appliances moved back in, trim painted... We are on the home stretch!

Dude, you are going to have to put a fish bowl in that hole or something. I still don't see how you can help yourself.

:) It's been very hard, trust me. Every minor setback causes a tiny piece of my soul to wither and die. lol But I've been tankless for 5 years and we are close to fill time. :fish::fish:
