Some plumbing in today. And a shot of the room from the tank side.

 

Is the copper pipe going to be problematic?

 

Shouldn't be with ro/di. All my lines are copper already.

 

Well is the line going to tank or will the copper be going to the rodi unit. Most houses today are built with copper pipes. If it goes copper to rodi unit you will be fine but if it goes copper pipe to tank may cause problems

 

Yeah, it is going to feed a wash basin sink which will then run off into my RO/DI unit. The RO/DI water will be stored in a Brute 20 gallon can and the tank plumbing is all schedule 40 pvc independent from house plumbing.

 

QT Stuff

I received my Cupramine and copper test kit today. My plan is to use FWD and copper exposure as a prophylactic treatment for all my QT'd fish.

More plumbing and floor joists going in.

 

Tank stand coming along!

Here is some updated photos for the tank stand. There will be a hinged access panel in the floor to allow access to sump/fuge area. The plumbing is almost done for the wash basin RO/DI station also. Getting very excited now!
