    but the fixture is one solid piece of plastic, so do i just cut out the led's?

    do you guys think ill need a heater for my tank? it stays about 70 degrees in my room alof of the time, the thermometer constantly reads 73, is that too low?

    eah, 78 is a good benchmark. Get the Hydor theo heaters, they are tiny.

    now im also considering the arm clamp led strip from ecoxotics. its the same one over the ecopico. what do you guys think?

    I think I was having just as much trouble, deciding on lighting for my tank, as you are. lol.

    I think 2 should be good for LPS/softies. You said you want SPS? Go for 3 if you have space. Or you could just get 2 arms and add 2 led stripps to each arm so you have a total of 6 strips(3w each).

    haha im really torn between the arm clamps and the par30's, par30 is very simple and the arm clamps look very clean, theyre both around the same price to get enough to grow sps so i dont know how im gonna decide!! anyone is welcome to chime in on experience with either.
