    thats a sweet little thing, but i heard for large reefs canisters are a no no, how does a nano tank differ? i like that filter tho

    well u would take the crap out of it and run carbon filter floss and rock rubble or that what i would run but u can do a different filter media

    ya ill probably do just carbon, im doing weekly water changes anyway so the filter doesnt have to be great. and does anyone know how difficult it id to keep sps in a tiny tank like this?

    With a par30, sps should do OK, just as long as you can keep up with fluctuating water parameters by doing 10% weekly water changes and topping off for evaporation daily.

    Yeah, some easier more hardy SPS would be fine, birdsnest, Poci, Stylo...

    Montis seem to grow pretty easily. But they might get too big for the tank.

    im doing weekly changes, im gonna keep on top of this tank hardcore so im planning to do mostly sps

    What kind of tank is that? It looks like a mini half circle. Depending on the fixture size, one of the Ecoxotic Panorama modules might fit and should be plently of light. Might be another option if you didn't want the PAR30. Looks cool, scape should give you a ton of room for frags.
