    i might go that route, but the only way i could get the guy at the petstore to take back the damsel, not the lfs i work at, was i told him i was coming back to get it once the tank cycled, so i might i might not. maybe. but ill probably want to do an invert only if i could do a pom pom crab those things are BA.

    a new pic, just to start things out. i put the rocks back the way they were i really liked it. also the waters still a bit cloudy from adding the water onto the sand you know

    I'd use some corrafix and get that rock glued up. Pacific coast imports makes a skimmer for that size tank.

    i think ill just do water changes, is that nearly as effective? also the rocks are epoxied together. i have some aquarium safe sealant

    A par30 should be plenty of light for that.

    thanks seano, i really hate to just trash the original fixture but the par30 is the easiest way to do led im guessing. rather than rewiring the whole thing. and does anyone think a small bta would do well in here? like a sunburst or ome of those expensive cool ones?

    do you guys think this filter should be sufficient? or should i replace it with a power filter. or i was thinking just take it out and do weekly water changes? what do you guys think?
