Anyone that was selling corals had their tank in the Hall. They gave out the lights Sat. night, didn't take too long after the dinner for the hotel to transform from boring to Actinic blue.

Yeah, it was hilarious!!! I actually had 3 of their new strip lights. 3Reef gave me one, then Marineland gave both me and Schackmel another one at the Banquet. When combined with a 14k MH lamp, the corals really "pop". I like it that they have on/off switches. (There is no way you could leave them on all night like a moonlight...it's just too bright).

Wow, I hope Marineland is willing to give one to all Reef-A-Palooza attendees. I'm sure they would be worried about bancruptcy after that though. :D

it is a really awesome light.
It fits PERFECTLY in the lid of our 28g Nano. It really does pop the color of the coral quite a bit. Like Inwall said one of the neatest features is that you have an external on/off switch that can be suctioned cupped to anyplace on your tank (nice size cord) Plus the LED is attached to a nob so you can turn the strip in basically any direction you want it to be in.

People at the hotel was probably wondering what type of convention WE REALLY WERE AT with all that actenic lighting! :)
