    Here is a little teaser of the Marine Aquarium Expo that went down in Costa Mesa, California this weekend. I have to say I was impressed to see a theme of monster coral frags at this show for great prices (pics below). These giant frags made me wonder if with more coral farming and vendors creating more competition - perhaps we the consumer will benefit with bigger frags for the money? I'll hold on to that dream for a little while.

    It was great to see a lot of 3reef sponsors and a highlight was a great talk by Dr. Tim of Dr. Tim's Aquatics on biodegradable polymers for removing nitrate and phosphate. The doctor is a great guy and speaker. He took a heavy subject and made it understandable for guys like me.

    Learn a lot and walk away with monster frags. Not a bad weekend for those that made it down!
