Marc Weiss' Reef Bugs

Anybody ever use this stuff:

Marc Weiss Aquarium Products - Reef Bugs - Nourish the reef with edible organisms in your aquarium

My buddy swears by it. Supposedly it contains eggs that hatch when you add water. His tanks seems to come alive when he feeds. The clam starts pumping right away and the sun corals come out for it.

I was thinking about ordering some but I wanted some other opinions.

I'm in the same boat with you, my buddy uses it, too. With a lot of success. I'm wodering the same.. Ive read snake oil, and I've read it works.. We need a review!

 

Yeah, a lot of people seem to dislike this guy and I have never found out why. Maybe he is a major Richard.

I have absolutely no idea what a Major Richard is. Maybe someone can fill me in.

Marc only carries 2 or 3 products. The company that bears his name and sells all of the vegetable salad products and dessicated cow blood (called black powder) is actually run by his ex-wife Karen. She owns not only his name, she owns his likeness. I personally think he should have gotten a better divorce attorney.

 

Lets just Say Dikk is short for or a nickname for Richard... lol

 

reef bugs definitely works. everything in my tank goes nuts when I put it in.

marc weiss gets a bad rep for bs reasons. All his products are natural and organic. if that makes them snake oil well his snake oil has done wonders for my tank.

 

that packing looks like a joke..... not that i could make a better one. it make the product APPEAR more phony. wouldnt know it is a good product...JMO.
