    What a moron. Who would risk such a beautiful octo by putting it in with a mantis?

    A meal should never cost more than the fish eating it. I find it interesting that we don't have any laws against this yet. Were all going to be in big trouble when the tree huggers find us:eek:

    ya can kill within minutes.

    i read that first symtoms are nausea followed by blurred vision then blindness. next comes paralysis then respiratory failure

    Pretty cool. From the video's description:

    "Peacock Mantis Shrimp (Odontodactylus scyllarus) killing and eating a Blue-Ringed Octopus (Hapalochlaena lunulata).
    These species occur in the same habitat and may frequently interact. How the stomatopod deals with the TTX chemical defense of the octopus is an area that my laboratory is currently investigating."
