    I didn't know exactly how to phrase it, but here's a picture.

    Do I need to raise the lights, or is this setup not harmful..? :-/

    What kind of lights are those? If you have halides it will get too hot for it up there.

    nope, T5s. I doubt it would get too hot, I just don't know what the deal is with exposure like this.
