making saltwater

    if i brew up a big batch of saltwate can i let it sit in a barrel until i need or or do i need to have the water moving with a pump?

    I personally have a heater and a powerhead in with my saltwater container as that is what i use to mix it up and when i need it it is the right temp and everything

    To answer your question, no you don't need anything in there. A power head is nice, but not needed. Just make sure its the right temp before adding to tank.
