I've had this giant magnifica anemone for about 6 months now. It like being high up on the front pane of glass and wanders back and forth every few days one side to the other staying at the top so it's tenticle just start to pass through the waters surface. I'd like it to stay put and would very much like it to settle on some LR or burried in the substrate. can't figure out why its acting like this.

Its acting like that because it doenst have enough light. It has extreme lightning demands and t5's just wont do. MH is almost a must. Do a bit more research on your anemone to make it happy.

I agree on light demands. The magnifica is the most light demanding species you can get commonly. A 4 bulb fixture just isn't enough. It is hunting all over for more.

Either get a new fixture, 6 or 8 bulb t5 or MH, or take it somewhere it can be happy.

    Sorry for the bad news.
