I just bought a seachem magnesium test kit and tried it out. I'm not sure if I am reading it right or not but I used 0.9ml of the titrant to turn sample from magenta to blue and on the conversion chart it reads 0.9ml=1125mg/L or 0.9ml=125ppm. What does these #'s mean? Does it sound right? My tank is 5 months old. Using tap water right now...husband is hooking up new RO/DI unit as I type this:)

    Other Params

    SG 1.026
    Temp 79
    KH 110ppm
    Calcium 420ppm
    Amm 0ppm
    Nitrate 0ppm
    Nitrite 5ppm
    pH 8.4
    Phosphates 0.2ppm

    Thanks

its 1125. switching to ro water would drop this level if anything. you will have to dose and maintain it at a ratio of 3-1 to your calcium. i keep mine at around 1450.
