I am on my way to upgrade my magfloat. I am getting some harder algae that isn't the easiest to clean and was wondering how the mag-flip is? Anybody use??

No idea but if you want to get corralline off the kent pro scraper is your best bet (if you dont mind getting your hands wet)

I upgraded to a AlgaeFree Hammerhead Scraper. They are spendy but come with an extra set of each side. They work 10x better than the mag Floats. Mine are used on a 55 and 120. If you have a smaller tank they may be too strong.

I bought a mag flip 100 a couple weeks back, should have read it was for glass up to 3/8" because it was useless on my 90 gallon. Plus it had a plastic scraper!... You be the judge, I don't recoment it, mine is sitting in the bottom of my fish box now since the store won't take it back

Buy the biggest mag float and purchase the algae free algae scraper you superglue to the magfloat. It works well. Takes me seconds to clean my 75.
