    Let me tell you. These people were so gracious and did such a great job, that it was worth the trip. I talked with a lot of the volunteers from GIRS (Greater Iowa Reef Society) and these people have been working like a dog for the last year. Their technology specialist (network, computers, all the things like that) actually had slept at the convention center for the last 7 days. I've been in Iowa before but never Des Moines before. It was a very clean city with friendly people. I fully intended to visit the Japanese garden nearby but ran out of time. I heard great things about their farmer's market. (I didn't get to see that either).

    Wow, lots of new tech coming out, like always. :p That Deltec skimmer was a giant. 2 feet in diameter?

    I better start saving now in order to be able to afford next years event...if classes don't get in the way.

    Ohio to Texas...I think a plane ticket is like $700-800 a person.

    I'm sad it's Dallas, I lived in Texas for 10 years..... I want to see something different.

    There's MAX somewhere between Feb to April..... I forget.
