I think those socks are good ideas, what are they?

Are they plain white Christmas stockings?

We have a lot of Christmas socks up in the attic. Did someone say you can wash them with bleach?

They are filter socks that u buy at the fish store or online. They are on drfostersmith.com also. My return on my skimmer is just a media bag i tied to it to cut down on the bubbles splasing all over the inside of my stand. Works pretty well

Hi all, i have a couple pics of the tank up and running with fish. I have a 19 watt strip light in the center of the tank until i get my t5 or mh setup (not decided yet). The Left part of the tank is dim but u can still make out the rock formation. Fish are doing great and eating like pigs so im very happy. Here they are:

If you are hard piping everything and want an easy way to be able to remove it later you can use pvc unions. they couple together with a nut and make it very easy to uncouple plumbing. just make sure you get sch. 80 (the gray ones) because sch. 40 unions are prone to break
