so after I returned from a 10 day vacation, my ato had pumped to much water into my tanks. Now the salinity is at 1.021. I am not sure if I should try to get this tank back under control or just go ahead and move the livestock into my bigger tank which I was gonna do in about a month anyway cause I am moving. Would it be better on the livestock to just move it into a tank that is pretty stable (w/ acclimation o course) or try to stabilize this tank than move the livestock in a month. Does it matter?

I would say let it evaporate out and top off with salt water to bring it back up. 1.021 isn't that bad

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
No acute intervention is warranted. Let the water evaporate off for a couple days and then replace with a SW top off if you have to.

Agree with the others- slowly raising the current tank's SG back to normal would be much easier on the livestock than any drip-acclimation.
