I posted about my lawnmower blenny who was not doing so good a few days ago.. You guys left some really good tips and we tried them, but the little guy just wouldn't eat... This is our first loss in our 6 months of having our tank.. It's a real bummer :(.. but I know this is all a learning experience.. Once again thanks guys for your advice...

Did you have algae in the tank for him to eat???

Sorry to hear of your loss as I like the personality my LM Blenny has. Now you have room for another fish :)

We had lots of algae in the tank.. He just quit eating it... He was pretty entertaining.. He use to perch up on the LR and look around to see ware his next adventure would take place..lol.... I would love to have another one but I dont want to repeat what happened.. I dont know why he just stopped eating... It was strange.. We didnt add anything to the tank, he was the last fish to be added... But now we get to enjoy another type of fish...

Sorry to hear about your loss. It sucks when it happens but it is part of it. All you can do now is move on and make it a memory of the past.

Sorry to hear you lost your fish. My first fish was a lawnmower blenny that i had for a long time! earlier this year he just stopped eating for no apparent reason and then slowly withered away :( they may not be the prettiest fish but man do they have personality. It is amazing how attached you can get to a fish! I swer mine had an indentity conflict and thought he was a clownfish! He would host a colony of anthelias that i had in the tank!
