    ...for an upgrade. :)

After plans fell through on what I thought was my 45 (actually 29), the LFS I work at has a used Solana 34g with stand and lots of upgraded stuff but no light. $200 with a "friend/loyalty discount."

Luckily I can use all my old equipment from my 14g Biocube, PAR38 bulb and eshopps nano skimmer for starters.

Stocking plan is a bonded pair of Japanese Redfin Waspfish, a marine betta, and MAYBE a small group of bangaii's.

I should be picking up the tank tomorrow.

I like Solanas, nice upgrade. They are sharp looking tanks. Congrats.

Well, got the tank today and then some. I brought my skimmer, eshopps nano skimmer, as part of the deal and got a reef octopus skimmer rates for 50-100g and a 6 bulb t5 fixture for 100$ plus my trade. Tank is sitting empty where my biocube used to be:

Pics are old biocube, all the equipment from the two tanks, the new solana and the cool electric work the previous owner did

    Nice score. Congratulations! :)

The skimmer appears to be either a space-saver that's been modified, or perhaps a discontinued model (couldn't find that exact unit at MD or RO, but space-saver is closest match).

Thanks! It's an older model and the previous owner has a knack for modifying things, so either or wouldn't surprise me :p
