Looking for a good camera.

Good morning 3reef,

I am going to go buy a new camera. I want to buy one that will give me stunning pictures of my tank and corals. All the cameras I have eaither blur with no flash or dont give me the true color.

I am on a budget but could spend a little bit more. 0 to 600 is my price range.

What do you use that gives you great pictues and if you can show me some good pictures of your tanks you may have taken with the camera.

The color you see from your camera is influenced by the first bulb in you lights.

I have a Canon PowerShot SX20IS.

You can look at my tank thread to see the shots taken with it.

You will need to experiment to find which setting works best for your situation.

Nice. I am thinking about the cannon XSI. i think the new version might be the t1

 

i have a t1i and usually use a 75-300mm lens...i love it! the xsi is basically the same thing just a little cheaper and only like 12mp instead of 14

Do you guys that use Cannon have any other lenses you use.
