Fairy Wrasse is pretty hardy and always out. The Mystery Wrasse is not as hardy as the Fairy's and they tend to hide. I have a Clown Fairy Solarensis

i think i am in love with Solar Fairy Wrasse. Think I could get two maybe a male and female. Would they be ok with my other wrasse? Also I am trying to decide between chalk bass and a trio of Anthias from the divers den. Also has any one ordered fish from Vivid aquariums or Dr foster and smith? What is the quality of the fish like from the divers den?

Solar wrasses are one of my favorites. You could do a male and a female and they should have no issues with your other wrasse.

Doctor's foster and smith are very good, I use them all the time.

2 questions; Solar wrasses are (presumably) reef safe and would get along with my green coris? When you say "Dr.s' foster/smith" do you mean www.liveaquaria.com ?

Yep, liveaquaria.com, or Drs foster and smith Diver's den, as that is semi local to me. You can cherry pick from the divers den if you visit their retail store in Rhinelander, Wi.

Solar wrasses are totally reef safe and not bullies either. green coris wrasse? like this??
Green Coris Wrasse, Green Wrasse - Halichoeres chloropterus

If so, then yeah, no problems. You can't be guaranteed of no problems, but I doubt any bickering will be long term or cause any harm.

I like mystery wrasses, but you hardly ever find them for under $125. Usually 150 is the going rate. IMHO, that's too much to pay for a fish that you can get many others that look similar to it for a lot less.
