Can a clown get lockjaw? For the past few days, my b&w occellaris has been keeping its mouth open wide. It still swims around the tank and eats just fine. My other orange clown isn't doing this though. The b&w used to be a male in the pair but I lost the female and got a new baby orange one. This isn't a side effect of it changing sexes is it?

No lock jaw is not a side effect. I have found that when hosting some corals the clown will clean the coral, then swims with his or her mouth open (I assume from the slime layer on the coral). I don't believe you need to be worried if she is still active and eats and does not have parasites

The only thing she's been hosting is the corner of my tank behind a powerhead, done this really ever since I got her. She comes out every once in a while to swim about, today more so than others.
