I think there is an issue with Potters angels this time of year. I have had a lfs try to order soem in the past couple months and he said they have been out of stock from all 3 suppliers and that this is the longest he has gone having this much difficulty getting a potters in.

 

you think you paid for that fish, they don't take the money for a fish they didn't ship until they ship it. so right now you paid for 2 fish and shipping.

when they ..or if they ship that third fish ( if it comes in stock in 2 weeks) thats when they will take the money from your credit card or paypal. for that one fish. and they will not charge you shipping for it.

i have been threw this with LA they are really very good at getting an item out to you, if they can get it. once they didn't have a star fish that was 9.99 i figured since it wasn't in the order ..oh well i won't get it. well they shipped that inexpensive star fish to me when it came in stock a few days later.
they really are very good about that. the shipping cost them more than they made by far on that star fish. they do value their customers.

 

look at it this way your tops on the list if it does come in.

 

Funds for the total purchase is placed on hold, but the card isn't charged until the item ships.

 

Anything that doesn't come from Diver's Den, is purchased from a wholesaler in California. I know the name of the wholesaler they deal with and they aren't solely selling to Live Aquaria. I have a LFS that purchases from the same wholesaler. As a result, any retailer who's purchasing from the same list, is buying the stock from the same wholesaler that LA is purchasing from and is drop-shipping those items to you. The wholesaler that they deal with in California, is definitely one of the best in the market. The only items that you're guaranteed once ordered, are items from Diver's Den, or any item that comes directly from Wisconsin.

 

i just got my 3rd shipment from them yesterday and it was the 1st time something wasn't messed up, but I will say they do make good by their errors, I got a $30 credit just because I complained that a Ricordia I ordered in my last order wasn't attached to anything.

 

They do need to work on their communications aswell as the survival rates.I've had issues with both.but their customer service is top knotch.im still unsure if I will order with them again or not though:/

 

This is exactly how LA works. All in stock means is that it was in stock that morning at this particular source. It could be 1 in stock, it could be 300. This is the only way that LA could move that kind of volume and still keep prices reasonable!
