Placed a order for 3 fish. Only 2 shipped because the other one was "out of stock" - Why did the website say it was in stock if it was not? :( guess ill have to wait for that potter angelfish.

A lot of times when you order the fish, it will be available. but by the time they process your order, someone before can get the last fish in stock. There are a lot of people all over America ordering from them everyday. So its highly possible for this to happen.

if that fish comes in within 2 weeks they will ship it to you at their expense. so you could still get it

You paid for shipping the two fish. Pink4miss means they will ship the fish to you once in stock free of charge. They are covering for their own mistakes. No need to get nasty.

I'm not getting nasty I was just saying I apparently paid for 3 fish and the shipment. I was only told they were out of stock when I got the shipping email. It's fine I'm just saying I don't consider it them paying for it.

I had the same thing happen. They were not satisfied with the quality of fish they had in stock and decided to ship it later or give me credit. I live very close to another outfit, Midwest coral farms, and they are simliar and take the time and care to make decisions like this. I appreciate that foster and smith-live aquaria takes the time and care to make the decisions. I would order from them again:)

I will too :) I just wish their website would auto update stock as most do.
