I made the #1 mistake of not doing all my research before buying my live rock, I know my salinity is correct as well as the temperature but is there any other water condition I need correct before I add the live rock? I also need to run to the store to buy one of these test kits before the live rock arrives.

I haven't added the live rock yet, that's coming tomorrow. What I need to know is if there is any other water parameters I need other then the correct temp and salinity in order for the live rock to thrive until the cycles over.

Is this a new tank? If so, if your salinity is where it needs to be, then your calcium, alkalinity & magnesium should all be fine. Maintain temp & pH and you are good to go.
