so im starting a bin to place my live rock in to cure for a few weeks till i move. That way when i set up my new tank i can already have the rock cured. i was thinking about placing the bin on my back patio (garage is full) the weather here is 45-70 during the day, do you think its ok or should i place a small heater in the bin with the rock, ill have good watermovment and the bin will be mostly covered with a lid for most of the day.

You need fairly steady heat otherwise the bacteria won't survive.

Keep it in the shade as well to avoid overheating from the sun.
