    froth it sounds like

    do you run a skimmer
could some froth have escaped from the skimmmer and just be floating on water surface
(I have seen that happen with an over enthusiastic skimmer, where froth burst up out of the vent hole and landed on my canopy, but could have landed in the tank)

Yes I run a eshopps skimmer the collects a cup of skimmate almost every other day. So that might be it. I also switched my reactor to all carbon before i left didnt think that would have anything to do with it but just thought that i would mention it. Thank you for the help.
