Calling all computer people! My desktop crashed last week taking with it my unsaved Ipod tunes....lets just say I have over 3.5 years worth of songs lost...I did save maybe 50%.

Anyway somebody told me about Limewire and free downloads from there. Well I have downloaded A LOT! How can I transfer those files to my Itunes site? They automatically transfer when I am connected to Limewire but when I am not on site it will not transfer....and I doubt that they will ever transfer to my Ipod (which is also broke right now...need to get a new one of those also) I know it can be done because I did it about 1 year ago but can not remember how

I would like to clear them from the share folders and just simply have them on Itunes. I am computer dummy so speak small words to me!!!;D

    Thanks

Open your i-tunes library. then open limewire on top of it. Go to limewire's library, then you can just click and drag the songs from limewire into i-tunes.

Where is it saving the files at?? I always put my music on a separate hard drive opposite the OS in case of a failure. I quit using those free sights because you should see how much virus's are sent that way. You would crap if you seen how many times someone tries to ping your IP address on there.

find the lime wire download file its prolly in your my music folder, select them all and copy then go to another folder and paste. then open itunes menu add folder select the folder you put the music in. you done

btw i would stop sharing as soon as possible. you don't get called to court for downloading, you get called to court for sharing.

I got a e-mail from Sony that told me I was sharing a copyrighted song and I got that free stuff off my computer. Been a few years back but I just get mine legally now.

Turn off sharing on your computer, that way they cannot trace you as easy... Also here is what I use to back up my Laptops (yeah Laptop's) and desktop.

Maxtor STM903203OTA3E1-RK OneTouch 4 Mini 320GB Portable Hard Drive

Best 120 bucks I have ever spent, and a life saver trust me. I have about 10 years of digital picture of the wife, kids, vacations, graduations, weddings on my Dell and when the hard drive crashed a year ago lost it ALL.. we only until I plugged in this little baby to my new laptop!
