    Thanks everyone was talking to a lfs today and was told I could start the tank sand base rock live rock and a couple fish and wait on the light till I have the money for the light. Then corals

    yes, the fish and live rock dont necessarily rely on the light to live. but once you do get corals t5's would be a good choice. its pretty much between LED's halides or t5's they all have their pro's and con's so pretty much its just your decision.
