I'm thinking of upgrading my 6x54W T5s (Indiv reflectors on WorkHorse 5 electronic balasts). I was looking into the ATI Power Modules and Constellation fixtures...

LEDs have been around for a while now but I don't know anyting about them. Please share your experience, what brand, cost, results, power consumption (compared to T5s), pros, cons, etc. I need a 4' fixtre for m 75 g mix reef (softies, LPS and some SPS).

    thanks.

My impression is that LED technology still have a little way to go to keep SPS coral optimum. I don't think you could go wrong with the ATI fixture..

I would go with the ATI also, that is a real good upgrade. You will need to light acclimate if you get either unit. LED spectrum still has a way to go to match reef needs from what I have read.
