if your a late night person and would like to enjoy some hours when you get home.. do this..

1pm put on actinic (long bulbs)
    3:30pm put on MH
    10:30pm turn of MH
    1am turn off actinics

    1:01am turn on LED lights
    12:59pm turn off led lights

I just leave my LEDs on 24/7.

I usally start my actinics at noon and turn them off at midnite.. you can tweak to whatever schedule you want. fish and corals will adapt.

no problem.. monitor your water temps if they get above 81 degrees make sure to cut back on MH light cycle by 30 minutes and continue to monitor.. thats if you dont have a chiller or dont keep your AC on really low..
