What would work better for me staying under $500.00, I was thinking of getting 2 of the value LED fixtures. But if I can get by using 1 of the photon32 I like having the controller. My tank is a neo 105 rimless 48½ x 24½ x 21

Or would I be better off starting with 2 valve fixtures and adding a 3rd when I have the cash?

    Thanks for the input.

What do you plan to keep? Some corals require less light than others.

You would do just fine with 2 value fixtures with 120 degree optics. One of the Photon32s with 120s would work well too.

OK, I have one of the photon 32's. How much room do you have above your tank. I have the "Photon 32" with 90 degree optics hanging about 18 inches or so above my tank and I love it. Even though I love the product, I would never waste the money on 120 degree optics because there is very little difference between 120 degree optics and running none at all. I personally, if I were you I would order the fixture with 90 degree optics, if you don't like the coverage, pull the optics off. BTW, you would never need 3 of the value fixtures. 2 of the value fixtures would like the heck out of that tank.
