LFS and potheads don't mix

So I need to vent. I am starting to mix my own SW finally after getting my RODI. I stopped by this LFS and the guy working there was lit up like a Christmas tree. Anyways, I ended up getting a few things along with a 50ga. mix of salt. He threw it in a huge bag so I couldn't figure out the weight of the salt jug individually.

So of course when I get home and remove the jug it's incredibly light. I open the top and notice about 80% is missing!! So I can A: drive over there and get replacement on account of $10 of gas or B: just let it go.

Next time I buy something far away from my home I am going to make sure it's right. Factoring in time/gas/frustration isn't worth it so I basically get ripped off instead.

I looked it up, he is the owner haha. It's the fact that I have to drive over an hour and a half to return something the price of gas. Honest mistake, stoned mistake, whatever it's still unfortunate.

I will say his tanks were impeccable though.

 

Call and tell him what happened and ask for store credit. Then you can use it next time you go up there.

 

+1 to this. I think it may be an honest mistake, to tell the truth. All it takes is to grab the wrong jug of mix from behind the counter, which is why I'm guessing you didn't have a chance to see the weight yourself.
