    looks good... I'd probably turn the flow down just a bit... but it's nearly perfect.

    Removing the bottom red plate and gluing the shaft together to the lid is the best mod for fixing the flow in that particular reactor I have found.

    This worked really well. Still prefer my Hydra by a lot, but my wife's TLF now works.

    I am surprised the Reef Dynamics biopellet reactor hasn't been mentioned. I just ordered the 250G version b/c I was looking for an upgrade over my current Reef Octopus reactor. In short, I was attracted to the Reef Dynamics reactor because it allows you to control the pellet tumble rate independent of the reactors output.

    It's not cheap but employs a relatively simple design. I'll post my results when I get it up and running.
