I would leave the larger clown in the sump for a couple of days. Give the smaller one time for recovery, re-arrange some of the rock work to establish new boundries/territories.

After you do the above and she is still aggressive to the smaller one, and the younger one is not doing the submissive shake then you may have to choice one or the other.

Sometimes for unknown reasons female clowns will decide that a male is not worthy and she may never accept him again. Who know why but it happens.

    Good luck. :)

Thanks. I'll try keeping them apart. I already rearranged the rocks some, but I'll probably finish tomorrow.

It's strange because the smaller one has always rolled over and twitched whenever the larger one is aggressive... I guess she is just a jerk (*not sure about the language rules here).

Well when you figure out let me know.

Sometimes the female just will not allow the male to exist in the same tank, but will accept another smaller clownfish. It always a gamble when it comes to clownfish.

    Well, he's still the same.

I'm assuming his sick (maybe the sickness was originally from stress), but since he doesn't have any sores or obvious physical signs, I'm not sure what to treat for.

Most diseases I've found end up having sores and mucous as a symptom, and they usually kill quickly.

Does anyone have any ideas for what I should try to treat for (fungal, bacterial, parasite, etc)?
