I am setting up a 210gal (6x2x26" to the sandbed) and unfortunately it has 2 center braces on the top. Anyway I can run two LED units or am I stuck shelling out for 3 units?

Which units and how many would you recommend?

Also, I know everyone is against the idea but I prefer to run tanks with glass lids to minimize evaporation and having to keep the ato tub full...*could* I run RB led's at a higher intensity and keep my glass lids? I was planning to run a softy and maybe a few lps corals in the tank.

    Thanks.

Go with 2 of the 32" fixtures and you will be just fine. I have a single 32" fixture over my tank with a center brace and you can't even tell it's there. BTW, I think you would be fine leaving the top on. I'm not a big fan but "to each his own". These things are pretty intense though. BTW, the only reason I don't like the glass being on top of the tank is heat.

Would you do three Photon16's or three Photon24's? The 16's have more watts and are $10 cheaper each so that seems like a a better deal right?

The 16's would be plenty. Like I said though, 2 of the 32's would be plenty as well.

I would do 90 degree optics. If those are too tight, you can always remove the optics.

I figure for the same price I would have more flexibility down the road with 3 units verses 2 if I were to set up different tanks.

You sure would. Go with the 16's. They would cover your tank fine. To put it in perspective, I have the single 32" fixture over my 4 ft tank. That's 8 inches on each side and it is covered just fine.

Could I do 2 photon24's for lps and softies on the 210gal?

I was thinking I could do 90 optics then remove the optics on the ends of the 24's to help spread the light better on the ends of the tank (since it would be a little short).
