LED Nano Pendant from the Ground Up

It's gonna be slow. I want it to be perfect and look professional when it's done. Building the casings is going to be the biggest challenge. I'll also have to practice some soldering before actually doing it. Been a while since I've done any.

 

Do you have a lot of experience with acrylic? How do you make your cuts, scroll saw?

 

I have a good amount of XP with acrylics. I have table saws, a scroll, a router with a table, a dremmel and access to a few different heat shapers if I need them.

 

Include your workshop when your taking your pics. I just got a garage for the first time and I'm dreaming of what could be if I would just clean it out.

 

LOL. I just have a garage dude. Nothing special. If I was wealthy enough to afford a shop I'd just buy an LED fixture. LOL My garage is cold in the winter and hot in the summer so I usually just make cuts in there and then haul everything inside to the dining room table to assemble. Talking tank related stuff. So yeah. I have a rolling toolbox but honestly I search kitchen drawers, junk drawers etc. because the only time the box was full was the day I bought it to stay 'organized' LOL ;D

 

Well in light of this development http://www.3reef.com/forums/3reef-radar/panorama-36-led-retro-ecoxotic-92875.html#post945474 I do not believe I will be going through the hassle of soldering, etc and will just purchase this unit when it becomes available next month if I can confirm that the LED's are 3 watter's.
I will build the ABS housing and adding a fan. I'll post that portion of the build when the time comes.
