LED Light question

okay! Im sorry for creating so much threads about lighting. Im just curios and going through one by one.

Could I just add that if I wanted cool shimmering/coloring effect?
Would it just add shimmering? or would it also add more richer color to my biocube 29? Also how many strips do you think I need? Im really just looking on buying 1 strips though.

 

It will give you the shimmer, if you are looking at SPS corals and clams you will definitely need more, softies and LPS might be OK with one.

 

Well Im going to have that strip run with the biocube 29 stock PC lighting, So im just going to add one strip on the hood. Do you think 1 strip of that LED lighting is strong enough to give shimmers and more rich colors?
Wait..does this strip even give more richer color? or is it just shimmer effect? Lol im confused to the LED stuff sorry!

That will work for all of your desires. Get the blues for the richer color.

 

I think the second one is a complete system as opposed to DIY parts on the first one.

ah i see, anyway the first link. One strip of LED will be able to support more rich color and shimmering in the bc29? or do you suggest 2
