    The only snails I ever see trying to climb out are nerites. ceriths and nassarius dont have an interest in the world of air like nerites do.

    I would find my Nerites all over my apt. when I had them in my CUC. They were great cleaners, maybe a little too good, my hardwood floors were spotless!

    They love to go into my overflows I don't get it. Unless they reside in a tidal area and like the higher flow oxygen available areas.

    Haha before I go to bed every night I have to check my tank for nerites! They crawl out and you have to look everywhere because they are basically crazy escape artists!

    And right on cue my wife found a nerite crawling across the hardwood floor last night while feeding our newborn. He was a few feet away from the tank when she found him!
