Well I saw this in my tank the other day...and my first thought was "what the heck?"...then it dawned on me that I'd just bought a Lawnmower Blenny....guess I know how they got thier name.

EDIT: This is in the 29 gal. tank.

As you can see the left side and middle look as though they've been groomed & manicured while the far right is in it's natural wild state (sort of since we had just pulled a bunch off somewhat recently)

Sorry for the cell phone pics but my good camera decided to not work. Oh and for the dirty glass but the blenny is loving it so I left it for him ;D

Sorry this is the nano tank...I got a starry blenny for the 46.

The lawnmower blenny is maybe 2.5" and the starry is 4+ inches.....just for your info.

I'll add the tank info to the first post.

No problem I just thought it was cool that the lawnmower had trimmed the calurpa to an even height folowing the curve of the rocks.

The nano has no skimmer or external fuge so I have the macro in the DT it's nice that it's getting trimmed w/o me having to do it. :)
