Welcome to my tank build thread

Hopefully you all can enjoy this is much as im going to. ;D

For the cycling process witch started yesterday i have around 20 pounds of base rock and only about 4 pounds of live.
And a little blue a yellow damsel to get things going.
Only problem is the dang damsel went into hiding and wont come out.

Any ways for now list of equipment is

T5 nova
aquaclear filter 30 g
20 g high tank
20 pounds fiji pink sand
20 pounds base rock
4 to 5 pounds of live rock


on the list to get
hob protein skimmer. any recomendations welcome
refractometer
led nightime strip

Lots of coral

Uhh remove damsel and add chromis...if you want no agression.
Aqua-c remora for shimmer DO NOT GET SEACLONE!
What fish are u planning on?

sounds like your off to a great start..... but

Ya the damsel was cheap and hardy but he will be coming out when im ready to start adding other fish . I DO NOT plan to add many fish just a clown and lots of coral ;D alos a clean up crew and a peppermint shrimp

I had an Aqua-c remora in my last 20g my question is at times it didn't seem like it i could get it to skip and i also always found my self trying to adjust it to get it to bubble in to the container ;probably just me tho.

your 2 big rocks dont seem very porous. where did u get them?

 

i got them from a local fish store.
