I just bought two of these powerheads for my new 90gal I'm currently building. I haven't tried them out yet on my current tank, so I was wondering if anyone has these powerheads and what are their thoughts on them? They got decent reviews besides a few that said they just stop working after unplugging them which was kind of a concern, but I've had that happened to one of my current Koralias too. Also for a 90gal, is this good flow(1400-1500gph)?

    Thanks!

I have two 750s on my 70G and honestly, its just not enough flow....I will be replacing one of them with a 1050. Of course it also comes down to what you want to keep. However, you'll probably need additional flow for your 90G regardless of what you're keeping. I have mostly LPS with two new SPS. The LPS are doing great but the SPS are probably looking for more random movement, plus I have still have some dead areas on my rocks.

So far I've had no problems with them though. They are def more compact than the previous model which is nice. I can't say how they work with a wavemaker but I'm pretty sure a few people here are using the Evo's with one.

Again, IMO I really think you'll need much more flow for the your tank.

    Thanks guys!

Alright looks like I should either get one more 750 or go 1 step up to the 1050. Well since the tank is just in the beginning phase and I think I can wait to pick one more up for the first month, but I appreciate the perspective on how much flow works for everyone else.
