    Does anyone use a Kold Ster-il unit? I am debating on this or an RO/DI system. I like the no waste factor of the Kold Ster-il.

    Just asking for thoughts...

    They are not a substitute for RO/DI and will not give you 0 TDS water. There are many many articles about them over on RC. The long and short is they do not live up to their claims and are somewhat expensive compared to RO/DI. I am somewhat concerned about waste myself so purchased the Spectraure MaxCap UHE which is running at slightly less than 1:1 waste. It does give me 0 TDS and at less than 2 cents a gallon including replacement filters and water and sewer costs.
