I've thought about breaking my tank down before too, but my g/f and brother talked me out of it. I was really tired of constantly worrying about the tank when bad weather strikes, but I have gotten a little better about that. I've put so much time, effort and money into it, that it doesn't make sense to break it down now. Plus, selling everything would be a huge hassle. I will probably just let my tank go for now until I can upgrade or come up with a new project for it.

However, the advice of trading/selling corals is a great idea. I started to sell some frags of my corals and it's not only helped me clean my tank up but has given me a few bucks to help with the tank. Plus, it gives you something to do with the tank.

I'm glad I started this thread....you guys got me thinking about this stuff again. I still wouldn't have much time to spend on it but now I'm looking forward to setting up a new tank, I already got ideas rolling around in my head for a new tank. This time it would definitely have to be upstairs, I'm thinking a cube in the middle of an open floor plan, viewable from all sides with the sump in the basement. It has to be a nice, clean look. I got some large pieces that I started out with as frags, hopefully I could stay interested enough to keep them healthy till we move....hopefully sometime mid to end of next year.
