Why acclimate twice and cause more stress? Bring them to your gf's and acclimate there.

 

I would just leave them in the bags that they came in and just take them to the gf house and aclimate them there. The less stress the better.

 

thats what i thought but thats atleast another hr hr and a half in the bags cuz i need to wait for my fish to acclimate

 

remember if you warm them up you start changing the ph due to O2 depletion, or so i have read

You are getting a cowfish? I heard they are very deadly if they get stressed.

 

so should i just leave them in the dark box? to keep the ph more stable? the weather is gonna be in the mid 70s here so they should be ok for a little in that i think...

ive had them before and they are no more deadly then a puffer. i had 1 die in my tank when i first started and had no ill effects. i think they are only a threat if they are killed whille they are stressed, he will be with mollys so he will be living the easy life lol
