    If you're using IO and not adding alkalinity any other way, I'd be surprised that your alk is actually 15 dkh. I would check your test kits and have a LFS confirm your results.

    When you're using the API test kit, how many drops does it take to go from blue to green and how many drops on top of that to get it to go yellow normally?

    When I use the API kit, it may go from blue to green and then within one additional drop turn yellow.

    me to. I got 16 last night, but I put 10 drops in before I shaked.. lol I'm interested to see what I really get doing it the right way.

    well just retested my water, got 15dkh.. I did shake in between drop too..
