Hi Dskyers~Sorry for the late reply. Not really use to people posting here :) Anyways I've taken to using a turkey baster now to feed Dilly. He seems to be able to peck the food out a lot easier. I also turn off the flow for the entire time I'm feeding him.

It seems that since your lil guy is so shy, it may be best if you tried a small feeding station for him. Try a small empty clam shell, place it where you see him swimming around most, turn off the flow and using a turkey baster gently add the thawed food to the dish. Sit back and watch him. I would start with the food you first saw him eating at your friends. Once you see him eating, stick with that until he's comfortable with the station. Then you can slowly switch up to something different.

Remember, and here's a new issue I've been dealing with. The added frozen will be adding extra nutrients to your tank. Be sure to rinse the frozen off well in RO water. I actually thaw the food out using RO/DI water, then dump out that water after several minutes and then repeat the process. Feed very small amounts at a time. I introduce maybe 10 worms a day to my tank and out of those 10 Dilly gets about 4-6 of them. I've also upped my WC to 25% 1x bi-weekly and looks as if I may need to do so more often.

Good luck and keep us updated :)

Woke up to something new going on with Dilly. His belly was full looking!! Although he came to get a few bloodworms, he still went right back to his area of control. Which is home to many many tigger pods. I do believe Dilly is eating pods now too!! :)

12 weeks today Dilly has been with me :) He's doing great! Watched him chase down an amphipod molt that was floating around the flow-to funny lol.

That's good to hear red baron is still with me as well in my nano. Feeding is still iffy but I changed main rock on its side so he does not have such a big hiding space so he is out more now so that's a step forward lol funny thing about him is he will only come out when I'm in front of tank anyone else he never does.

Today makes seven weeks I have mines. He is so red now I love it. And just as fat as when I got him. And I have lots of pods. Thanks to my great fuge I got going in the back. Last night I cleaned my pump in the back and almost dropped it because so many pods big ones little ones they crawled right over my fingers lol soon I will catch him eating the rods food I'm sure.

I've tried to keep my mouth shut on this one, but something is screaming at me now.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words; well, I can't help but notice something as I look through yours.

Look at this progressively. Here is all the shots you've posted in this thread to date, in succession.

It may already be too late but I would definitely increase its feedings.:(
