Man do I love these guys, you will too. They're so smart, I had an O. havanensis, mine was trained to leave CUC alone, I could hand feed him, and he would only come out for me.

Peacock is a smasher, though recently I've learned most peacocks are capable of both smashing and spearing.

Member "Stepho" is also really knowledgeable in stomatopods.

What size tank and are you planning on any other inhabitants?

Surprisingly, a 20 gallon is usually adequate for a peacock, and a full grown one gets up to about 8-10". I keep my havanensis in a 14 gallon biocube.

Im not sure if people still dose trace elements, but do NOT dose iodine, this induces molts and can be extremely stressful to stomatopods, I lost mine to a bad molt.
