There is a website owned by JP called Just Phish(just phish .com). He is a very nice guy . He sells all sorts of things from livestock to dry goods! That is what I thought you were referring to. Located in Connecticut. Anyone who is a member of the Ctsars(Connecticut area reef society) will get a discount as well!!! Check it out. The thing I should mention is he doesn't post everything that he carries, so just e-mail him and alot of times if he doesn't have it he can order it for you.

I'm not exactly sure why you bothered showing us a year old post about one dissatisfied Just Phish customer. Shall I search the web and see how many threads I can find about all of the other on-line vendors that have dissatisfied customers? Seems rather silly to me.

::::sigh:::: Not bashing just informing? Really? Seriously. What are your motives here? Are you just upset that I said I would be a little hesitant to accept your advice on how to make something look on the internet because of your aversion to punctuation? I'm sorry. I didn't realize I struck such a nerve with you. Hopefully now we can get past it. ;D

Did someone post a question about me that I missed and you were just trying to point it out? Cause to me it looks like this came right out of left field and serves no other purpose but to bash. But hey, that's only my take.

But since I'm here, let me comment. I'm not going to worry much about that skimmer post because the poster was right....in some parts. Lawyers, FBI, fraud, my not responding...lol...come on. No need for the drama. The only lawyer that has ever contacted me is my OWN. I remember the situation the gentleman in question filed a chargeback before any human could act fast enough to initate a refund to his account. I didn't bother to contest the claim because he was right, he should have had the skimmer. Unfortunately my supplier (who is not AETech, so few products are purchased directly from the manuf. when you buy in the small quantities I do) could not produce such a high ticket item in fast enough time to satisfy him. I'm at the mercy of suppliers. So like I said, he was right, he didn't get his skimmer but he did get his refund. The other stuff in there....nuh uh.

Regarding the other poster that he ordered two items and when both arrived they were substitutes. I don't know who that is, and I'll do my best to find out, but I find the post a little misleading. No one orders from me and simply gets a substitute without their choosing one! These are live animals, not mass produced widgets. If I am out and you order it, I will email you and let you know and then you the customer decides how you will proceed. Never do I, nor would I just ship something you didn't order without your knowledge. How could I? I don't even know if you wanted one or more importantly, if you could even care for what I sent properly! No where on my site does it say anywhere I will substitute anything. I won't even sub size up or down or color! Your money, you decide what you want if something is out if you want anything at all.

The last gentleman. What can I say. Just someone much like you. Has never ordered, has no first hand experience, but has a nice long handled spoon and can't resist walking by a pot without stirring. Or in this case, starting up a whole new pot to get going! :p

Seriously Powdertang05. I've given you access to PM, AIM, phone, and fax. You've yet to take me up on it but still seem to have some axe to grind. Must I give you my home number as well? I'm home right now and the kids are still up. PM me shortly and I'll give it to you and we can chat if you like.

    Take care.

I just wanted to add something that I forgot to in the book above. ;D

What exactly do you think you have proven? That there's a business with unhappy customers? Is this concept really a revelation to you? It's impossible to please everyone. And I'm not saying those two folks in the other thread are impossible to please as if the second one is in fact true and I really did just send two things of my choosing to substitute his order then they're right and have more than enough reason to complain.

But let's be real. Even companies that come in top in customer satisfaction ratings out there in the world still have unhappy customers. It happens...unfortunately.

I'm still not seeing exactly what your point is.

LOL, yea I work at Wal-mart, pretty much the top business in the world! My GOD you should hear the complaints I get EVERY DAY! I'm a manager there, so of course I get the brunt of it. If people are so unhappy shopping in our stores, why do I see the same complainers in there every friggin week?! I have to admit, Just Phish, you have a point about the substitution thing. Why would anyone in their right mind simply sub an animal not knowing if the person recieving it is equipped to keep it alive? For all you know, you could be sending someone with a 10gal nano a full grown yellow tang!

I just did business with Justphish.com and I have to say that it wasn't pleasant at all. I utilized the owner's automated checkout/payment procedure to pay using paypal...shipping was included in the price.

Two days after sending the payment the site owner contacts me stating that an item was out of stock and he could send the items that were in stock if I paid shipping on both.

He also stated that my order would be shipped after I paid an additional $40 to overnight the livestock. When this happened I told him to please cancel my order and refund my money or a dispute would be opened up with paypal.

It was at this point that the site owner lost his cool and started sending emails referring me as "too stupid to understand his website." He also called me a liar and a thief (odd since all I wanted was my money back with nothing from him or his website). I have attached one of the more abrasive emails he sent to me to demonstrate his poor customer service and immature behavior/language.

You don't have to take my word on it, just read the above posts where the actual site owner blows his top and acts rude/childish.

I have recieved the best looking ricordea and shrooms from JP I've ever seen.
And by the way JP, the 1 purple/blue mushroom is now 3! I saw the 2 little offspring mushrooms last week. The emerald crab is healthly too. Getting any fire shrimp soon?

To everyone else - Don't let a 3 year old post from some moron influence you.

LOL, I can see this guy is going to put me to the test. Mark, I asked you to be honest. ::::sigh:::: Thus far in all the posts you've been furiously typing away making you've yet to be honest. I've got no problem setting the record straight. Giddy up.

You placed your order for three different drygood items and three different livestock items. When you ventured onto the site you were given a plethora of information regarding shipping policies, returns, etc. Prior to submitting your order acknowledged that you read and agreed to the terms of the site. You then made your payment through paypal which including a shipping total of $19.80 for ground service. You were given the option for overnight, but you refused it.

I sent you the following message

"Hello Mark, I have received your oder and payment. However, the Hanna calibration kit is out of stock right now. Everything else is in. Please let me know if you'd like the instock drygoods shipped out. As far as the livestock goes, you will have to pay the shipping for the livestock. The shipping amount would be $40.01 Once the shipping is paid I can go ahead and ship out the livestock as well. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.
    Thanks
    JP
    Just Phish"

You'll notice no where does it say anything about paying for shipping on items that are out of stock and in stock.

Now as I'm sure you read already since you acknowledged you did, that shipping for livestock was via fedex priority only. And also that shipping charges to states not neighboring CT would be $35 plus 10% of the order subtotal. Your livestock subtotal was $51 for your three items. That comes to $40.10 for shipping charges.

You emailed me back stating you were no longer interested because I "added to the shipping price". I didn't add anything that you didn't already know was due. Then you stated that you wanted your order canceled and if I did not cancel it you would file a dispute with paypal. I wrote you back and said I did not add additional costs that were not already associated with your order and I had no problem canceling your order.

Minutes later you filed a claim with paypal. In your editorial of how events transpired you stated to paypal that you placed an order from me. You then stated that I wrote you and told you that your items were out of stock, however if you sent me an additional $40 suddenly I could ship your stuff. You deliberately twisted what happened to make it look like I was extorting from you. Why? Who knows! I had just minutes earlier agreed to cancel your order and told you no worries!

Since then you emailed me again and lent that you knew in fact what was due, but since the site let you check out that way I was somehow bound to send you something for nothing and threw a tantrum because I wouldn't. Then started with the "I'll post everywhere stuff"...the usual antics, etc.

You wrote me in an email that you did not have to be "insulted and
subjected to poor customer service without ramifications". I agree. You don't. But I don't have to stand accused of being a thief and insulted either. Just because I own a business does not mean I am below you. My first correspondance to you was cordial. Yours back to me have been anything but. As I explained to you, you get more flies with honey. You were already getting what you wanted but that wasn't enough. You obviously needed to surround yourself with the drama. I don't candy coat things. Perhaps it's a fault, however I won't allow myself to be bullied.

    Edited...
Forgot to touch upon this. You lied to paypal about the events that transpired. You lied on here about how the events transpired. I don't know what they call stuff like that in TN, but you know what they say. If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck...."quack quack" right?

As far as being a thief. You deliberately tried to take advantage of me knowing full well you were not entitled to what you demanded. Sorry my brother, but that's what a thief does.

And yes, this is all very odd since I agreed to cancel your order and refund you without worry minutes after you demanded it be done. But you still weren't happy!

Look at the date of my post. I just purchashed from this company 2-3 days ago.

How did I "bully" you? I asked for my money back because my items were not in stock and you charged additional shipping after I used your automated billing system and paid exactly what your site charged me, including the shipping.

Go look at your rating on the internet, the highest I've seen your company rated was 2 out of 5 stars, and most of them are 1 out of 5 stars.
