    Mind you, I don't think I've ever heard a "true" story about mantis cracking a glass aquarium but I certainly would not take a chance. I'd rather have a scratched acrylic tank than a busted glass one :)

    The only time my little mantis (n. wennerae) would smack my aquarium was if I provoked it or if it saw its reflection. Then again JP of Just Phish had a peacock mantis that hated my guts and it would smash the glass anytime I looked at it so it's kinda a crap shoot as to how the animal is going to behave. Better safe than sorry I always say :)
